The upcoming Thai BL drama The Next Prince is set to hold its worship ceremony this week. The series stars the popular actors Zee Pruk PanichandNuNew Chawarin Perdpiriyawong. The pair previously wowed viewers in the Cutie Pie series in 2022. Following that, Zee and NuNews new drama, The Next Prince, was first announced in 2022. As such, the wait for the series has been understandably long.
Furthermore, The Next Prince raised anticipation after unveiling its official pilot earlier this year. Most recently, the drama held its fitting session, and fans saw the cast in a stunning regal look. After a long wait, the project is now finally gaining momentum as it has announced a new event.
The Next Prince to hold a worship ceremony
The Next Prince will hold its worship ceremony on Thursday, July 18, 2024, at Samyan Mitrtown from 9:09 a.m. ICT onwards. The projects cast and crew will attend the event. Worship ceremonies are usually held in Thailand to pray for good luck ahead of entering production and filming a new project.
When is The Next Princes expected release window?
Fans took to the comments section to share their thoughts on The Next Princes expected release window following the announcement about the worship ceremony. They have collectively voiced that Zee and NuNews new series will likely be released in 2025. Per the rumors, The Next Prince will begin filming after NuNews solo concert, which is set to take place in August.
Per Thai Update, it usually takes two to three months to film a Thai series; however, it can vary depending on the episodes. If The Next Prince begins filming even at the end of August, it is not expected to premiere before next year considering the post-production process. Fans still have months of waiting before they get to watch the new series.
